Another cool idea is to create your own Gift Basket by collecting items along a central theme and arranging them in a gift bag, basket, or box with tissue paper. Example: One time my cousin gave me a gift bag that contained all the items needed to make a nice Italian dinner - a package of gourmet pasta, a bottle of pasta sauce, a box of dried breadsticks, a bottle of extra virgin olive oil, and a bottle of red wine. It was great for me because I do a lot of cooking. Along similar lines, I once needed to get a wedding gift but didn't have any time, ideas, or money so I took a beautiful antique crystal pitcher (from my own collection) and bought a 5 lb. bag of oranges for them to make fresh-squeezed orange juice.
